Brief 15: Applying the Visuals

As this is a very speedy brief, we are now working separately to apply the visuals and will bring them together on the pitch boards. These are the visuals/products that we have created. All of them are mocked up as we don't have time for anything else.

Posters
The posters would include both a before and after image of the balloon being popped, to create a strong visual that captures the attention of the viewers. The type and the layout allows the image to be the main feature, creating a poster with impact.

FollySimilar to the posters, the Folly would feature the before and after poster image to increase the audience engagement with the promotion. The bold imagery and strong type work well at this large scale as they provide enough impact to make passers by stop and look.

Private View Invite
The balloon would be printed onto and attached to a standard a6 postcard. Details of the show would be printed onto the balloon, and the recipient would therefore have to blow up the balloon to find out the details, making them more involved with the show and increasing their awareness and engagement.

Flyer
The flyer would be interactive to engage the audience and to effectively demonstrate our 'out with a bang' concept, using a fold in the invite to show the balloon before and after being popped.

Signage/Wayfinding Example

To push the concept even further, the signage and wayfinding would reference balloons by using phrases such as 'pop in' 'pop up' and 'pop out'. This creates a more fun and engaging environment at the end of year show. The phrase from the promotional material 'it starts here' would be used at the entrance to the show.

Balloon Installation
These would appear outside of each course's exhibition space as a more interesting way of displaying signage that would have more relation to the out with a bang concept.
