Myself and Hannah have been working a lot with drawings that have we created in order to create a visual style that we feel works well for this brief and the intended audience. From the initial drawings we created, we decided to work with the name 'The Write Way' because A) it's more interesting than simply calling it 'pen pals', and B) who doesn't love a good pun?
We thought it would be good to create the logo using hand drawn illustrations to fit in with the rest of the brief, and so we had a bit of an experiment with the name and the logo we would like to use.
We have decided to use handwritten type for the main logo, with the pencil W shape as a visual logo that could be applied across several of our products.
