Brief 14: Development

I have decided to use this hand drawn illustration in my print. It links to the title of the song, 'My Maudlin Career' with a sad looking girl sitting at a desk. It's a simple, imperfect ink illustration which I think works well with the aesthetic style of the band and the vintage pop feel they display both in their music and style.

Coloured Layers

The print will be separated into 4 coloured layers: pink, a purplish blue, red and black. I feel that these colours work well together as they create a bold, vibrant print with a femininity that relates to the song's themes, and the band.
