We want the logo to reference light waves and how they react, as shown in this diagram. We think that this would work as strong visual symbol by itself as well as when accompanied by text. The lightwaves also work to create a W shape which works with the name of the festival and so it all ties together and makes sense.
These are initial drawings for the logo. At the moment it's quite bulky and so we need to develop it into something a little sleeker and more refined.
